Course Description:
This course was designed for healthcare providers providing care to individuals after surgery. During this course, you can prepare and learn how to guide your client in caring for their incision and recognition of when healing is progressing as anticipated or showing signs of delayed healing. Learn the method for caring for healing incisions and treat issues as they arise. If you are a physical therapist, you may be eligible for contact hours. Contact hours are awarded through Wound and Therapy Seminars, an approved provider of PT/PTA education through the New York State Board of Physical Therapy. PT/PTA from other states may be eligible according to their state CEU requirements. Documents required will be available to print
