To become Board Certified by the CSL Therapy Governing Bureau in the Body Altering Aesthetics industry, applicants must submit four specimen.
Specimen 3: A certificate from an Academia Foundational Course, completed through a CSL Accredited Foundational Program or a certificate from a Baseline equivalent. For each desired licensure, a separate application must be submitted.

OPTION 1:

- Choose a CSL Accredited Foundational Program relevant to the desired licensure track.
- Complete the Foundational Course: Enroll and complete the chosen Academia Foundational Course, ensuring it meets the accreditation standards set by CSL Therapy.
- Obtain the Certificate: Upon successful completion of the course, obtain the certificate issued by the CSL Accredited Foundational Program. This certificate serves as Specimen 1 in the application process.
- Submit Separate Applications: For each specific licensure desired, submit a separate application along with the Specimen 1 certificate. Ensure the application includes all necessary details and meets the CSL Therapy certification requirements.
OPTION 2: Grandfathering (for Specimen 3 ONLY)
Students/applicants that would like to be considered for Board Certification by means of grandfathering can select this option, following these steps to complete their specimen 3*…
- Register**, enroll, and complete a Baseline Exam for your desired educational track.
- Pass the exam with 85% or higher to receive your Specimen 3 certificate
* Note: Students that successfully complete this option fulfills their specimen 3 requirement. They must still complete the other three specimen requirements as stated within the National Body Altering Aesthetics Competency program handbook.
