(Concept)

As a client’s body processes the cellular waste through vessels, nodes, and then organs, their superficial skin layers will show physical responses to this circulatory fluid regression.

The thoracic and truncus cavity house the bulk of the body’s organs. The way a client’s body looks when they are standing differs from when they are lying because the truncus cavity will compact as well and allow everything to sink inside of the cavity making it look psuedosmaller and psuedoslimmer. It’s harder to see irregularities when a client is laying down on their back; tissue and organs settle into the abdominal concavity. Standing and sideline are the best ways to assess how tissue is responding to treatments. Taking pictures and assessments with the client lying down gives false readings.
