Lymph
A barely colored fluid containing white blood cells, which bathes the tissues and drains through the lymphatic system into the bloodstream. The liquid flows through the lymphatic system, composed of lymph vessels and intervening lymph nodes whose function, as the venous system, is to return fluid from the tissues to the central circulation.
