(also known as “3rd Boob”) a phenomenon characterized by the accumulation of connective tissue and various cellular elements at the upper abdominal region, superficial to the sternum, which may occur as a result of sustained pressure or chronic holding patterns post plastic surgery procedures. This tissue aggregation consists of a mixture of adipose tissue, subcutaneous fat, trapped fluids, congealed cells, and inflammatory cells. It develops due to the combined effects of downward pressure from mammary tissue, inward pressure from compression garments, and upward pressure from a client’s thighs, fostering tissue compaction and buildup in the specified area.
