Basic Life Support (BLS)

a level of medical care that is used for victims of life-threatening illnesses or injuries until they can be given full medical care at a healthcare facility. It includes CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), providing oxygen, controlling bleeding, and other basic medical interventions to sustain life.
