the tactile or sensory perception of the body’s surface and discernible body presentations, suggesting an emphasis on texture, contours, adhesions/restrictions, temperature, smell, sound, or patterns. It is the trademarked technique for the body altering aesthetics industry to focus on how the body’s physical changes is perceived or “read” through therapeutic inspection, similar to the way Braille conveys information through touch.
