Interstitial Fluid

Interstitial fluid is the fluid found in the interstitial spaces within tissues. It’s a clear, colorless fluid that surrounds and bathes the cells in the interstitium. It is primarily derived from substances that leak out of blood capillaries (the smallest type of blood vessel).
