Lymphatic Uptake

the process by which lymphatic vessels draw lymph, a clear fluid containing white blood cells and waste products, from the interstitial spaces surrounding tissues and organs into the lymphatic system. This uptake occurs through the action of negative pressure within the lymphatic vessels, which helps to propel the lymph towards lymph nodes and eventually back into the bloodstream.
