The POLEX is an in-person assessment conducted at designated testing centers, ensuring a controlled environment for candidates. These options ensure convenience and accessibility for candidates, allowing them to select a testing center* that best suits their location and preferences for taking the exam. Questions are presented in a randomized manner, covering a range of competencies, with varying point allocations, ensuring a comprehensive assessment across diverse topics relevant to the field of Postoperative Induration Management in the Body Altering Aesthetics industry.

* NOTE: Applicants may only take one exam per day per testing center.

Scoring and Results

Throughout the examination, candidates will engage in cognitive processing to determine the most suitable responses for each question. The POLEX exam is graded out of 210 points, requiring candidates to attain a minimum score of 80% or higher to successfully pass.

Certification Upon Completion

A passing grade [80% or higher] grants candidates Board Certification necessary for State licensure in the field of Postoperative Induration Management Sciences & Technology within the Body Altering Aesthetics industry. The official certification will be “Board Certified PostOp-Indur Clinician“.

Application Procedure

The application process for the POLEX exam incurs a $25 fee* and requires approximately 10 minutes to complete once all four specimen are available for upload submission. Application processing may take up to 2 weeks, and upon clearance approval, candidates can schedule the POLEX assessment at their preferred testing center. The cost for the POLEX examination is $295.
