Sitting Agency Officer: Chanelle Davis

Get to know Chanelle…

“I am a Cincinnati, OH native & I’ve been massaging since I could remember. Since the age of 4, I was the kid always rubbing on someone’s back. All through high school, kids use to ask me to massage them. I started my own weight loss journey in 2010, weighing in at nearly 250lbs. I lost 125lbs  through exercise and learned how to eat right, and have kept my weight consistent ever since. I graduated high-school in 3 years instead of the usual 4 years in 2010, and then attended nursing school during high-school to became a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA). From there, I attended and graduated with honors from Cincinnati School of Medical Massage in 2013. I wed my wonderful husband, Marsenio Davis in 2014, became the Lead Therapist at Massage Envy Kenwood for 3 years (2014-2017), and in February of 2017, I founded Tuch’D Therapy, a wellness clinic that focuses on self care. I studied at the Moller Hollywood Beauty School in 2018 and became a Licensed Esthetician. I studied with Academy of Lymphatic Studies in 2020 and became a Complete Decongestive Therapist (CDT). But my successes didn’t solely build me into the professional I’ve become today, I also had some setbacks and failures. I failed the  National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) exam by 2 points in April 2021. Devastated, I recommitted myself to my studies and passed with flying colors in August 2021 to become a Board Certified Massage Therapist. I’ve studied and continue to study close under the International PostOp Massage Therapist Guru, Tai Brown, Founder of Taime Out Sculpting Institute. For the last consecutive 3 years 2021-2023 I have won the “Best Massage Therapist in Cincinnati” Award, presented by The Cincinnati Awards Program. My husband and I welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world in June 2022. I am loving motherhood she chills with mommy throughout the day at Tuch’D Therapy, where she’s the client main focus lol.”
